About the Author
I’ve been immersed in the literary world since I could string words together. My book collection exceeds 2,000 titles, many of which I’ve read more than once (if they’ve survived my annual donation and remain on the shelf, they’ve usually been read two or three times).
Since university, I’ve been copyediting and proofreading academic work. In 2010, I started working with online blogs, comics, and fiction novels. Realizing how intimidating the publishing industry could be, I started Scribe Cat as a way to reach out to first-time authors who may need a helping hand in smoothing out their projects for submission or self-publication. (Admittedly, it also doubles as a way to self-promote my books, too!)
While I’ve been writing since I was in my teens, my first self-published short stories appeared in 2020’s Fantasy Unbound. I published my debut solo anthology Phantasmias in October 2021.
I was born and raised in Canada where I still reside with my cat, Alice. You’ll see her in just about every Instagram post and quite often on calls—she’ll ignore me all day long until she senses my attention may be elsewhere, then she’s right by my side.
